The short version
- No cookies and no ad trackers. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or follow you to other websites.
- Your project form answers stay on your own device until you press Send.
- When you send it, we keep your answers so we can reply and quote your project.
- We use AI tools to help us work, and a person reviews everything before it reaches you.
- We don't sell your information or share it for advertising.
- Email us and we'll delete it.
What we collect

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, handles the basic details every website receives, such as your IP address (the address of your internet connection), your browser type and the page you asked for, to show you the page and protect the site from abuse. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits: which pages are viewed, the site that sent you here, your browser and device type, your country, and how fast the page loaded. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't identify you, and doesn't follow you to other websites. We only see totals, never a record of you. |

How we use it
- To read your answers, reply to you and prepare a quote.
- To send you an automatic confirmation when you send the form.
- If you hire us, to plan, build and support your website, and to send invoices and take payments through Stripe.
- To keep the site and the form working and protected from spam.
We won't add you to a mailing list because you filled out the project form. If we ever send marketing email, it will say who it's from, include our postal address, and have a working unsubscribe link, as federal law (CAN-SPAM) requires.
Who else handles it
We use a few outside companies to run the site. They handle your information only to do these jobs for us:
- Cloudflare hosts the website, stores the project forms people send, and counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics.
- Resend delivers the emails the site sends: our copy of your form and your confirmation.
- Google Workspace runs our business email.
- Stripe sends our invoices and processes payments if you hire us. You enter card or bank details on Stripe's secure page; they go straight to Stripe, and we never see or store them.
- AI assistants, such as Anthropic's Claude, help us read and organize project forms, draft replies and quotes, research the public websites of businesses we contact, and write and test website code. Information you send us may be processed by these tools for that work.
How we use AI: a person on our team reviews and approves anything an AI tool helps with before it goes to you or onto your website. We don't put payment details, passwords or account logins into AI tools, and we don't use them to make automated decisions about you.
We don't sell your information or share it with anyone for advertising. We would disclose it only if the law required us to, for example in response to a valid court order.
How long we keep it
We keep sent project forms and quick quotes for up to two years after we last hear from you, so we can pick up where we left off. If you become a client, we keep project records for as long as we work together and as long as we need them for tax and business records. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your choices
Email admin@ownerscopy.com to ask what we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We'll reply within 30 days. Deleting your information doesn't affect work we've already agreed to in writing.
Keeping it safe
The site only loads over an encrypted (https) connection. Sent forms are stored on our own Cloudflare account, and only we can see them, along with the AI tools we use when working on your project. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect and who can see it.
Children
This site is for business owners. It isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us something, email us and we'll delete it.
Websites we build for clients
This policy covers ownerscopy.com only. The websites we build belong to our clients, and each one has its own privacy policy for its visitors.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the effective date at the top. If a change affects information you've already sent us, we'll tell you by email.
